EXHIBITION - BELEM - LISBON - 2009

On the 18th of May 2009 at the Museu Colecção Berado was the largest retrospective exhibition of Pancho Guedes' work. It was at the Centro Cultural de Belém, Praça do Império, 1449-003, Lisboa and a comprehelsive catalogue is available.

The exhibion showed architecture, painting, sculpture, drawings, sketches, models and photographs of work from the 1940's to the present, and was curated by his son, Pedro Guedes of the University of Queensland in Australia.

The title of the exhibition was "Vitruvius Mozambicanus", taken from the article originally published by Arquitectura Portuguesa of July 1985 featuring his work, on which this website is also based.
